April 2008
Californians for the Support of Early Education held its first event on April 3, 2008 in Long Beach during the annual conference of the California Association for the Education of Young Children. Approximately 50 individuals attended the reception at which Delaine Easton, the former Superintendent of Public Instruction, spoke about the need for early education services in California. Other speakers included Dr. Charles Weis, the new Santa Clara County Superintendent of Schools, and Dr. Gary J. Kinley, Co-chair of CSEE.
Another event is currently in the planning stages for Northern California sometime in the Fall of 2008. Please check this page for more information about this and other activities of CSEE.
